Anna Galli e Letizia Bonizzoni sono guest editor di un numero speciale di Applied Sciences, un giornale Open Access della piattaforma MDPI, riguardante l’analisi XRF in ambito beni culturali. Ecco il messaggio ai colleghi:

Dear colleague,
the following special issue of which Letizia Bonizzoni and I are the guest editors will be published in Applied Sciences (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/applsci), and is now open to receive submissions of full research articles and comprehensive review papers for peer-review and possible publication:
Special Issue: Contribution of X-ray Fluorescence Techniques in Cultural Heritage Materials Characterisation”
Website: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/applsci/special_issues/Cultural_Heritage_Materials_Characterisation
Guest Editor:Dr. Anna Galli and Dr. Letizia Bonizzoni
Deadline for manuscript submissions: 31 January 2021

This Special Issue is intended to collect papers dealing with any of the analytical techniques related to XRF spectroscopy appropriate for applications to Cultural Heritage materials. Paper subjects can range from instrumentation and technical developments to case studies requiring methodological innovations, from theoretical simulations to new data handling. All the variations of XRF spectroscopy will be considered: portable or mapping spectrometers, synchrotron based XRF, total reflection or grazing techniques, and synergical association with any other non-destructive analytical techniques.
Given your interesting work on the theme and related disciplines, we personally invite you and your colleagues to submit a contribution with *free publication * for this special issue in which some of the leading experts will describe their work, ideas and findings. Your paper will be published as a Feature Paper after our standard peer-review procedure.
