Dopo il successo della prima edizione, torna il PhD Day AIAr: un evento nato per valorizzare la ricerca dei dottorandi in archeometria e scienze applicate ai beni culturali. Forte dell’ottima esperienza di networking dello scorso anno, l’iniziativa si conferma un laboratorio ideale di scambio e confronto multidisciplinare. Il congresso punta a consolidare la rete tra giovani studiosi, stimolandone la crescita scientifica e offrendo nuove opportunità di formazione e crescita professionale.
Following the success of its first edition, the AIAr PhD Day is back to promote the work of PhD students in archaeometry and sciences applied to cultural heritage. Building on last year’s excellent networking experience, this event is a real laboratory for exchanging ideas across multidisciplinary fields. The initiative aims to strengthen the network among young researchers, fostering their scientific development and offering valuable professional growth.

- CSI: Cultural Science Investigation – Studi archeometrici e metodologie innovative per la diagnostica, datazione e caratterizzazione dei materiali e siti storici e archeologici
- Guardians of the Artifacts – Conservazione preventiva, metodologie di intervento e materiali innovativi per il restauro
- Stranger Data: The Upside Down of Heritage – Nuovi approcci per la gestione e l’analisi dei dati (data management, creazione di database, intelligenza artificiale and machine learning, scambio di dati, data fairness)
- Heritage 3.0: Into the Multiverse – Buone pratiche di valorizzazione, digitalizzazione, musealizzazione e disseminazione
- CSI: Cultural Science Investigation – Archaeometric studies and innovative methodologies for the diagnostics, dating, and characterization of historical and archaeological materials and sites
- Guardians of the Artifacts – Preventive conservation, intervention methodologies, and innovative materials for restoration

Come partecipare/How to participate
L’evento è gratuito e aperto a tutti i dottorandi del 39°, 40° e 41° ciclo e neo-dottori del 38° ciclo interessati alle scienze applicate ai beni culturali. I partecipanti sono invitati a presentare contributi – orali o in formato poster – su una o più delle tematiche della giornata. I contributi saranno selezionati dal comitato scientifico sulla base degli abstract inviati.
The event is free and open to all PhD students of the 39th, 40th, and 41st cycles and new doctors of the 38th cycle interested in the sciences applied to cultural heritage. Participants are invited to submit contributions – as an oral presentation or a poster – on one or more of the topics. These will be selected by the Scientific Committee based on the submitted abstracts.
